It’s a small house for rent, available when the owners in the other house are away. It has access to an enviable view of Lake Chapala, and a swimming pool on one side, and sturdy mountain views to make you feel enclosed on the other side.

It is being offered for the first time, starting April 1, 2024. The owners are flexible if you want to stay until October, or November, 2024.

No pets are permitted.

Your garage takes you into your private entrance, in an immaculate and fully equipped kitchen. It’s not easy to find a dishwasher, and this kitchen has one, and every other amenity for full service.

It has one bedroom with a queen-size bed, separate room with washer and dryer, superb art, and cozy furniture throughout. The bathroom is sleek with new amenities designed for comfort.

Step outside, and revel in the colorful flowers and cacti on your way to a kidney-shaped pool. The outdoor living area features a barbecue, outdoor dining set, and lounge chairs.

The lease comes with the option to rent the owners’ vehicle, a VW Passat, so you have a car during your stay. Available at an additional cost, with a valid driver’s license.

Everything is included: housekeeping once a week, gardener, electricity, water, gas, homeowner’s association fees, propane, and Internet. 

It is located in the private Las Quintas community, with just 14 houses in it.

Cost per month is $800 USD, about 13,700 pesos.
